Insgesamt zielt das PROUD-Projekt darauf ab, das unterstützte autonome Leben (SIL) als alternatives Verfahren in der Betreuung unbegleiteter Minderjähriger im Alter von 15-18 Jahren zu fördern. Es werden insbesonders Wissen und bewährte Verfahren zum unterstützten autonomen Leben in den teilnehmenden Ländern durch die verschiedenen Arbeitspakete des Projekts gesammelt, ausgetauscht und verbreitet.
